Lovely simple melodies and you are really getting a lovely fat and warm tone with the pick, which is very easy on the ear.

I used to play a piece called Huckleberry Hornpipe, and old fiddle tune that Clarence White had recorded (fast..) - you'll be playing Bluegrass next ;-)

If you haven't, have a listen to Ron Block (Alison Krauss and Union Station) - some of the most sublime pick tones I have ever heard.

That was great Phil. I purchased the same Homespun course a couple of months ago and I just started working on Whiskey Before Breakfast. It's kind of tricky on the back half of the arrangement.

I agree with the pick feeling awkward and slow when nearly all I play now is fingerstyle.

I am an idiot!! I have just accidentally deleted my video of Whiskey Before Breakfast on YouTube. I have uploaded it again and restored the link in the original post. It was obviously a mistake and was doing quite well (for me!!) in the watch numbers and had some lovely comments.

Strange this because I feel gutted so be warned by my mistake
