Default New Ribbon Microphones - AEA N13

AEA just released the mid-field N13's which are somewhat between an N8 and an N22. What is your opinion on these ribbon mics? Is anyone going to get it try out?

Oh man, that's exciting. I have an N22 and it's an amazing mic (I was lucky and got a good deal on it used). I don't really have a pressing need for the new one but I hope that one of my audio engineer friends gets one asap.

I owned and used the N22, N8 and the R84. The only one I didn’t really like was the N8, mostly because it just didn’t suit my situation. However, using a 22 and a 13 together would be interesting. Considering what AEA is asking for the N13, I’d go for the R84 though. It is harder to place, but the results make it worth the effort.
Having said that, I use Royer R122’s for my ribbons now.
