I worked for almost a decade for a Belgian company. Got the chance to visit many times. Stayed in Kjortrek and Gulleghem. Simply wonderful place, except the total lack of forests. Loved Belgium though.

Hi, I live in south eastern England, and I feel blessed for that but with all that's going on, I'd say Eire would be the next best option.
Traditionally most Brits that move abroad have gone to France and Spain but all but one pal have come back after a few years.

We just closed on selling our current place in Wyoming.
But are under contract for the property right next door .. more acreage a bigger house and a view of the Wind River Mountains . Hopefully this will be our last move. Will most likely be selling our place in Colorado also. Don't see it happening BUT If we had to relocate to a different country It would likely be New Zealand

I live in Canada on a lake with loons, peace, quiet and my guitars. I could live in many places in Canada, if I had to (PEI, Cape Breton, BC, Laurentians etc).
Other country? France, Italy, Eire, NZ with just as much ease. |

We live in Ohio, USA.
It's a very underrated place to live and offers a lot. Anyway, I like it. If I had to move, I would stay in the USA, Eastern Tennessee, near Knoxville or Western NC near Asheville. Beautiful, great people and decent climate. If I had money, San Diego here I come!

I live in Illinois. We have great scenery here. You've got cornfields and soybean fields and wheat fields. And more corn soybean and wheat fields. And dairy farms!!
I like the beach and the tropics (tired of snow and ice) so another country would be the Turks, Caymans, Belize, etc. |

Currently U.S.A. (Northern CA).
We already own properties in Costa Rica, so we're kinda part way there already. But I'd also consider Oz or an island on the South Pacific (pretty much anywhere that's warm and peaceful).

I’ve lived in the US most of my life, but was born in Canada and still have close family there. That transition would be easy, and Canada is a great place to live.
I still have a soft spot for Germany, where I worked a number of years, and also Switzerland, a unique and very inviting place to live. I wouldn’t mind visiting Australia and NZ one day, and probably could settle in either one. NZ looks like my kind of place scenery wise.

I live in Wisconsin, USA. If I had to move it would be to Ireland. People are friendly and the pace is more to my liking. Most important, it is one of the most musical places on earth.

I live in Las Vegas and my wife and I have purchased a small vacation home in Northern Nevada (Sparks), which is almost like a different country sometimes and at this point it will be our retirement home.
But if we had to move to another country, my wife would move to France but if it were up to me I'd choose Italy. But she said I could come visit! Best, PJ

I'm an Australian that lived in Paris for 2 years (1969-70)
Toured Europe and the UK during that time - loved all of it. Returned here early 1971. Been to New Zealand - beautiful. Drove around Australia in 1992 - also loved it. I'm now living in a small coastal town, no traffic lights, halfway between Sydney and Melbourne. Not too hot in summer or too cold in winter. Fresh air. If I was going to move I'd probably stay within Australia and check out places in Tasmania - think mini New Zealand.(see picture Cradle Mountain, Tasmania) Mind you, it can get cold down there... here's Hobart in Winter.

I Just moved to Western North Carolina from NYC, so I have no plans on going anywhere soon. But if I had to move out of the states, I would probably go to the Czech Republic. That’s were my wife’s family is from and we have loads of friends and family there. I would love to make a Pit stop for a couple of months somewhere tropical first.
