If you haven't listened to much Steven Wright, he's truly hilarious.

I'd get the snow blower. Lowes is selling a brand that is much easier to turn than a Craftsman blower of the same size. By me though a decent blower is about $1,300 (24", electric start). For $1,700 you can get the heated handles and 30" wide. They have headlights too.
