Default Composite Acoustics RAW finish in three new models

As some of you already know, earlier this year CA released the new RAW finish on the hugely popular Cargo, and the all new OX models. This finish is basically a wax coating on the carbon fiber so it's the least labor intensive, and the least expensive finish currently available. A pleasant side effect of this new finish is that the RAW guitars happen to be the most responsive of the bunch. My OX RAW (000/OM) has been everywhere with me over the summer including days at the beach and on my boat, and pretty much in the back of my SUV the rest of the time. This winter my OX will see some snow days at the ski slopes as well.

Well looks like CA is reading their emails because last week Laurie called me to announce that in addition to the Cargo and OX, they decided to offer the RAW finish in the Legacy Dreadnaught, GX Grand Auditorium, and the X thin body as well. These three guitars will be the most affordable full size carbon guitars on the market and should be very popular with working musicians as well as surfers and ski bums.

Thank you for listening CA!

Ted

Don't know about the raw finish but the RT finish don't sound bad at all.
