Default Samus' Stardrive (Andy Mckee) cover

Hi all.. recently I found another interesting tuning. - CGD#FA#D
Started to learn it with Andy's tune 'Samus' Stardrive'.

The harmonics at the start caught me out until I read the tuning - it sounds great!

Thanks Dustin! Yup, it is from one of my favorites "Nocturne" album 2001.. omg, can you believe, it was 20 years ago.

Love it! Andy is one of my all time favorites. Some of his simplest tunes are some of his best (I learned "All Laid Back and Stuff" by ear and watching the video- it wasn't too bad).

Well, you got me beat by a few years. I didn't know about him until 2006 but I did discover him before he blew up on YouTube (which sent him into the stratosphere )

Such a good touch and flow to to this. Inspiring tbh. I don't really do alternative tunings other than a dropped D as I always think I have enough on the plate with standard but this makes me realise how much we miss out being so fixed. Really good, man.
