Default Tommy Emmanuel - Angelina

Here is a take I did on Tommy Emmanuels song Angelina. It was a difficult song to learn, and some spots could have been done better, but I really need to get outside in the sun right now

Have a great weekend everybody!

Johan, you did a good job. This is one of Tommy's signature pieces and you couldn't have chosen a better song with which to hone your skills. I usually play this in the hybrid picking style, but you did very good for just finger picking it. I'd say you have a great start on a song you'll continue to polish as time goes on. Have you gotten the "Emmanuel Labor" DVD? That is an awesome DVD where TE breaks down each part of the song and teaches some of the more subtle passages. I tend to steer away from tablature, myself since someone else wrote the tabs and often isn't what Tommy does.

Thanks for sharing!
Ed

Thank you Ed.

Indeed, it needs to be polished, and after having it up a day, it feels like I could've done alot better. Now, I i must say, Im not very pleased with the results at all. I dont have the dvd, so I might go and check it out.

Thanks!
