Default Bron-Y-Aur.... Zep

Been workin' on this one for a bit.

Took a couple of weeks off guitar ( Hawaii vacation... woohoo.... took a uke along though ).

Picked up the Hummingbird this morning and did a 'run through' then recorded the second run through. Here is the take, one take one guitar, so mistakes are included. This is recorded in my office next to a window with traffic going by and a TV going in the adjacent room
Oh, I added a reverse C chord at the end....so 2 takes..

Albeit a bit shaky, it should get smoother now that I got all the parts down...kinda.
Enjoy

Wow, Robbie, that Hummingbird sounds friggin' amazing, really. So rich, sweet and deep. I fail to understand how so many on the AGF can not be attracted to this tone.

Your playing is oustanding, you really bring out the best out of the Bird' and have a lovelly touch.

I throughly enjoyed listened to this track, must say very different sounding to my Bird, which is more dryer, punchier while yours is super sweet and sensitive.

I want to be negative.... but you did that all wrong. You were supposed to go to Hawaii empty handed and pick up a new uke while you were there (just my 2 cents).

Thanks for sharing the tune.

Very nice sounding recording. I think you should give this video lesson a listen. You're close to nailing it but not quite there.

..admittedly a bit shakey.

LOL..... seeing as how I mostly learned it by ear, close if fine by me!
I'll start adding the extra little hammer/pulls as I get more comfortable with it....but it will still end up as 'my version'.

Most other peoples 'songs/tunes' that I play, are played as 'my version' or um 'interpretation' ....lol

Even songs I have been playing for oh ....30 years now, are not note for note copies of the original. Dont care really though..... my wife loves everything that I play....and for that alone, I'm happy.

That sounds very nice. This is such an amazing tune.

I don't think it must be identical to the original to be good. I intentionally alter tunes to my liking all the time. The guitar is fantastic, and the recording is really clear - the background noise is no problem whatsoever - a little "ambiance", no big deal!

Great job.
