Default Help with tablature symbols

Hi all,

I need some advice. I'm working on "Little Martha" as it is tabbed in the April issue of Acoustic Guitar (pg.86).

Above the musical notation on pgs. 87 and 88 there is a B V----------------------- and then a 1/2 BVlll-------------- etc.

I have no idea what these mean. Help please!

Thanks in advance
Ron

B means Bar. V means at the 5th fret. 1/2 BVII means half bar at the 7th fret. Half bar is 3 strings, sometimes 4.

Have fun. It's a cool tune.
