Default Fleetwood mac - The Chain

Here is a fingerstyle arrangement (Arr - K. Valleau) of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" played on my new Collings OM2h with a baked top. Hope you like it.

That was fantastic. Is that a back drop in the background? Looks quite realistic.

Thank you sir.

It's not a backdrop. I live in a loft building that was built in 1920. It was converted into condos sometime around 1996. Makes for an interesting background for my videos I guess.

Very nice! This song has been on radar of 'someday to learn' for our acoustic duo but we need to learn the harmonies to make it work and my harmonization abilities are weak, although getting better!

Thanks guys. Yea, it's a great song and those vocal harmonies are really what makes it. It must have been interesting to have been in the studio when they recorded it. Half the band was dating each other and had broken up and the whole record was them all playing their breakup songs as a band. This is the only song on the record where each member of the band got a writing credit.

Excellent job; I've been working on a number of Kelly's renditions but haven't tried one of his Fleetwood Mac interpretations. I started on Never Going Back Again but got hung up on some of the chord fingerings; I'll probably circle back to it soon. Sometimes I think Lindsey was vastly underrated.

Several other exceptional guitars, but these make me smile and keep me inspired!

Yea, some of his arrangements can be a real challenge. I typically will change a few things, mainly chord voicings, when I do his stuff. I find that sometimes he uses voices/positions that seem unnecessarily difficult, especially for playing live. His arrangements are quite good though for the most part.
