Default 1989 Taylor 512c with upgrades

Hello my friends! I have an interesting guitar for your viewing pleasure.

It's a beautifully made 512 from 1989. It has what looks to be an upgraded headstock, florentine cutaway, and just plain gorgeous.

The original owner had a big collection of guitars and this was one of them. Each looking as if they came directly out of the manufacturing plant that week! This one is no exception. Maybe a small finish scuff or two but you'd be hard pressed to find them. The case too is in amazing shape! Not just for a 30 year old guitar, but for any guitar!

It came without electronics, and since, I have professionally had a Fishman Aura with tone and volume knobs installed. Also has been professionally set up.

This wood has really opened up, it has a nice big sound unplugged. action is nice and low, no buzz. Frets are in amazing shape. Nut width at the neck is 1.75".

Comes with the original hardshell case which is a neat color (see the reverb pics for that) as well as the "case candy" including the original warranty card with model and serial # - which is a neat piece to have!

https://reverb.com/item/20388359-taylor-512c-1989 - has the pictures for now until I can get them transferred onto here!

For AGF members, I can do 1700$ shipped. (I have Venmo, cash app). Also open to trades for -12 body Taylors and other things of that nature.

Thanks for looking and God Bless!

Any chance it's got a 1 7/8 nut?
Taylor had an overstock of 12 string neck blanks and used many of them on the 12 series guitars that year. I gigged with an '89 512C all through the 90's that had one.

I will measure when I get home my friend! I sure do love classic Taylors, and there are so many interesting things like this they did over the years creating some unique pieces!
