Those are the reasons why I chose it for my current guitar. I'll get over it and no doubt use them again. I will just be a little more attentive to the inlays.

I am following your example, Bob, and going with evo frets on my next build -- a Franklin OM. Nick is really impressed with them, and has been putting them on more of his builds since your Franklin OMC. Their improved durability is a major attraction.
The color really works with the "Buttered Toast" top. But it also seems pretty subtle to me: in your photos of your Franklin OMC, the color's not extremely noticeable, unless you are looking for it, and it goes quite well with that guitar too.
