The Fixx - Reach the Beach
Great album from 1984 that isn't available on streaming for some reason. The Fixx's 1984 release - Reach the Beach includes the hits "One Thing Leads to Another" and Saved by Zero, but the Title Track and the track "Outside" are also memorable hits as well. The recent vinyl release includes a bonus track from the movie "Streets of Fire"

That is a great album by a very talented band.
They released it in early 1983 - I remember this, because my friends and I bought and played the bejeepers out of it in the weeks leading up to seeing them open for The Police on their “Synchronicity” tour that summer. The FIXX are still out there, recording and touring with their original lineup. They sound better than ever. We saw them perform at a small listening venue a couple of times in recent years - most recently in 2018, on their 35th anniversary of “Reach the Beach’s” release. They played the entire album in reverse sequence. “Shuttered Room,” from 1982, is another incredible album. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8DFfTjKl5s |

My band does our cover of One Thing..... in our 80's new wave setlist - love that.

Great band and album! One of my fav’s from the 80’s. I’m quite sure I wore the grooves out on this one.
