Ah yes I had heard about but completely forgotten the Spartacus one

In the Fellow Ship Of The Ring (3rd movie in the trilogy, Lord Of The Rings), what looks like a car can be seen driving down a dirt road off in the distance in one of the scenes with Frodo and Sam in Farmer Maggot's field.

pretty sure there were not any vehicles in the Shire during that time when the fellow ship was formed.

I recall hearing that in the film Pulp Fiction, there were bullet holes in the wall that were there prior to the guns shooting.

Perhaps a visual affirmation of the oft touted "you never hear the bullet that kills you"

In the Ben Affleck movie "Pearl Harbor", there's a scene where a line of ships are moored, right before being attacked:

The ships are all Spruace class destroyers. The first Spruance class destroyer was commissioned in 1975...

There's also no crew aboard; those ships are mothballed.

I binge watched the latest Netflix Bosch series. Every time they shot a dialogue scene in a car that they were supposedly driving they never had their seat belts on. The buckles were hanging from the posts and I found that the whole series was "loose" in the continuity department.

Evidently it's not uncommon for LAPD to forgo wearing seatbelts...

Man, you guys are sharp!

Let me ask this, not knowing much about that business.

Who gets "razzed" or "dis-credited" for these errors? I mean, the awards are for greatness, so if a product is flawed like that, is it the Directors fault. Or the Producer?

Both?

Who's the amateur?

The hobbit ahead of his time was actually in Back to the Future (apparently playing Johnny B Goode in the wrong key)...maybe the car in that scene was the DeLorean?

First movie of the trilogy, not the third. People spotted it soon after the theater release. The advantage of digital movies (versus film) - the 'slip' was edited out and now can only be seen in early-pirated versions of the movie.
