Not really (see my location above) ... but I might want to give your Stehr a test drive so you never know.

Thanks Mike, that redundancy to my ears .

I will be at the woodstock show, but I probably won't have this one with me because of delivery to the owner in Sept. If you can make it down you could stop by and check it out. That is in Oct.

Talk later.

Kevin.

Hi Dennis - Thanks, it has turned out pretty nice.

YES!! That would be a sweet pairing of woods. I have the sister piece to this sinker top, except its only wide enough for a 15" top (Classic SJ size). I can get my hands on some very unique pieces of walnut...eye candy walnut. And you already know the last detail to be revealed on this bad boy...so, yes...bells and whistles could/would include something like that too (and killer rosette) .

Looking forward to the discussion Dennis .

Have a peace filled evening.

Kevin.

Dennis, if you can make it to Woodstock, I'll bring the Stehr. It'd be great to meet you! And Kevin, whatever you bring will be a pleasure to see, and it will be terrific to meet you there. Already looking forward.

This guitar is really starting to sound good. Really balanced. I'm impressed. Its a good sign when I keep going over to the case and opening it up just to strum it . Wow.

Its responding to some heavy strumming too along with being very responsive with the lighter fingerpicking. There is a nice natural reverb going on with it. The dual engineered sound ports really open up some nice tone to the player.

I'm really happy with it. Come strum it/play it at the Healdsburg show. Come to the mini concert too. I think you'll be impressed.

Finish pics - coming up!!

Default Final pics

I've mentioned before - this "neck detail" - well, I finally got the finished pics. I don't have the best camera and I'll get a better one, but for now...these will have to do.

I hope you like it. Please, if you like this, let me know.

The real thing is better in person and, Lord willing, I'll have this guitar at Healdsburg.

Stop by and PLAY it, it sounds really amazing!

Kevin.

More pics!!

Jim Olson and Brian Applegate have seen it in person. They were both REALLY impressed. Jim said "I've never seen anything like that before". He also mentioned "I can't even imagine how you did it". They were blown away - and told me so.

Have a great night.

Amazing artistry and detail. Amazing.
Thanks for sharing the journey of both guitars. It has been a joy to watch.

The Gauntlet has been thrown!

Very nice work - especially the neck.

That neck adds me to the "blown away" list as well Kevin, lovely work.
