Emerald Black Friday Deals?

I think I heard them mention Black Friday deals in one of the YouTube videos.

I missed the 25% off sale...wasn't ready to buy, didn't have the money to buy, anyways.

But I've been selling some guitars, and might have some cash soon. There are one or two in-stock I have my eye on.

What do they normally do for Black Friday sales?

Do they offer money off of select in-stock models? Do they offer a blanket discount of anything? Do they only offer a sale on custom ordered models?

Other than Black Friday, are there any hints of any other upcoming sale promotions?

I haven’t discerned any particular pattern to Emerald’s discount calendar over the years.

That being said, they do seem to have a lot of stock* on hand at the moment (some 46 X20s, for one example), so there might be something in the works.

*Although, since they stopped listing the outbound stock models in the weekly shipping videos, ‘a lot of stock’ is a purely subjective assessment.

I've been working hard to talk myself out of grabbing that *really* cheap amber X30.
I mean, it's cheap, but it's still money out of pocket for a guitar that occupies the same niche as the CA GXi I already have.

If a sale came up, I'd find it harder to resist. Gotta prepare my Resist arguments for myself.

...but a sale would bring an X10 Slimline Nylon into reach...

The only intervention worthy of AGF membership is to either take up a collection to ENABLE him to get it OR to distract his wife while he sneaks it into the house.

Also, while I have folks' attention, I hope there isn't another 25% off sale for Black Friday because then I would need said intervention.

Last year they had 10% off stock BF sale.

This year they had 10% off all green stock guitars for St Patty's Day.

How do I know these things you might ask??

No way to know they will do that again though...

IIRC, I think the previous 10% off sales also applied to custom built guitars, but I found exactly what I wanted from their stock inventory....

Selfishly, I'd be happy if the deal wasn't that great since I went a bit overboard on the 25% sale, and I'm very content with my X20, X20-12 and Amicus...
