You don't see this version of the WY1 pop up often. This is a 2003 purple, flamed maple version of the WY1 that many know and love, hand crafted in the shop of master luthier Kazuo Yairi and designed by Bob Weir, guitarist of the Grateful Dead.

The WY1-PRP features wonderful maple top, back, and sides. Has an ebony fretboard, 1-11/16 nut, fantastic intonation, and plays easily. There are some small nicks and marks, which I've tried to capture in the photos here, but nothing unexpected for a 20-year-old guitar—and it's all cosmetic, without any affect on playability or sound.

This version has the System 600T electronics with a built-in tuner that all work well.
