It is kept in a smoke free and humidity controlled environment , in its’ case . This Touchstone Series is the first series of guitars featuring old -growth woods and a new partnership in guitar building . The Touchstone Series starts in Lewiston , Maine where the Alaska Spruce Tops are braced and voiced by Dana Bourgeois and his team, utilizing the Bourgeois process for building great sounding guitars ( and this guitar is “great sounding guitar .The Tops are vacuum packed and sent to Eastman guitars in China and then the guitar is completed by a small group of Bourgeois trained luthiers using Bourgeois Specs. The guitars are then sent back to Lewiston, Maine for a final set up. I am selling reluctantly because I bought a new Pellerin and have a commissioned Applegate coming : i need cash flow. I paid $3,222.00 after tax. Beautiful peghead overlay. It won't be long before the market figures out that there isn't a lot of difference between the Asian version and the guitars made in Maine.

Bourgeois
For sure . The tone and overall balance and sustain are better than any new guitar at that price point I have ever heard or owned. I hate to give it up but have to down size to keep peace with the wife !
