Default (Adrianne) McKnight Guitars "The Tree"

HighLander OM "The Tree" mahogany and 1950 Redwood top. The old growth magnificent redwood top was salvaged from an Oregon water tower that was razed in 1950. This redwood has lots of silking and very tight grain with tone and response you would expect from master grade vintage wood. 1-3/4" bone nut, 2-1/4" bridge spacing. Tree body and neck binding with Tree rosette along with maple purflings throughout. A real diamond is inlaid at the 12th fret which is my signature differentiating my guitars from my dads. $10,750 plus shipping and insurance. Feel free to PM me or my dad Tim with any questions you may have.

Thanks for looking,
Adrianne ...

Default (Adrianne) McKnight Guitars "The Tree"

This was built a few years ago and just waiting for the right time to let it go. It’s beautiful and if you have any questions about it, please feel free to message me and I’ll be more than happy to talk about it.

BTW, This is the last build Adrianne will be posting under the McKnight brand name. Since she has a new last name now we are considering her options for her future builds. She will still be working out of my shop so her builds will still remain under dad's watchful eye but will likely have some new surprises in store ...

Way to go and best on the sale

Thank you very much! With the help of my dad (and mom) it came out beautiful. I also have to say that without the support of the luthiers (and especially Jay) I couldn’t have done all this.

This is a boost.

The Tree guitar is available for sale. It can still be viewed personally. I considered offering it as a road trip like we had created for the Diamond, but I'm more concerned about the safety of the guitar returning to home base if it is not sold in the process. I'm not concerned of treatment by those who would be on the travel plan, but the delivery organizations can't guarantee or be blamed when delivery is made and that it will be placed in the right hands.

It's a crazy world out there so if you are interested your suggestions are accepted.

Smile Air tags

I just shipped a guitar across the country with my first Apple Air Tag in the case pocket.

Worked GREAT. It was very reassuring to know exactly where it was without having to trust the shipper’s tracking.

It seems like an excellent bit of insurance to me, and the battery is supposed to last for a year or so, so could be used repeatedly….

If you do ship this out….

Sure is a beautiful axe!

Paul

Paul,

Thanks for the great idea! I would have never thought to do that, but seems great to keep better track for myself and the buyer.

I would just like to announce that I’m putting the Tree Guitar on sale for anyone that might be interested. I’m knocking the price down to $7,750 excellent price if you ask me please message me if you have any questions.

Adding another boost to this post for Adrianne just like any mom would do.

I can only imagine how lovely this guitar sounds. Cedar/Mahogany is a beautiful wood combination anyway, but with 70 year old redwood and "the tree" mahogany? Oh man.....wish I had the bones for this one!
