No problem!

I'll see if I can get mine recorded later. (Probably at 90% speed tho). I want to move on to my next tune (Deep River Blues).

If you need tunes to play and like blues, Toby Walker has excellent lessons that you can buy online and then he sends you the link to download via email. I bought 2 lessons at US$7.95 - you get the tab and at least 4 videos for each song - the complete song and then a few instructional videos. He is a member here - there is an ongoing thread of his packaged lessons. On his website he also sells the single lessons that I had purchased.

I like blues, but honestly I have never played any fingerstyle blues earlier.
But why not, I'll have a look at the lessons and see if I find something for me there

Thanks for the tip!

I have just been too busy for this lately. Not making any progress, but not backsliding either. Maybe next month, after winter rolls in, I will have some free time. You guys are doing great!

Ok, here's my "Darcy' s Guitar". I used my Seagull Coastline Folk. One mic, some noise and bass reduction. Its not perfect, but I'm done with it. I did it like MrP, once through, no repeats. Now at least I have two songs that I can play that sound finished :

Now on to the blues!

TBMan. I liked it! Darcy's Guitar? Where are you learning this from? A dvd series or tab from Pete's website?

Thanks JB!

I bought his "The Santa Rita Connection" CD and I bought his tab book "The Pete Huttlinger Collection a few years ago. You might be able to buy it as a single tab and a single mp3 thou. I'm having connection issues with his store, but here is the link:

Nice job guys... Cool you guys did the same song. I need to watch Toby's DRB wonder if he does the bend or slide? I don't care for the slide as much

Nope, the Toby Walker stuff is not for me. Not now anyway.
I am more of a romantic, melodic kind of guy

Looking for new song, prefer some warm melodic piece, can be DADGAD or regular tuning.
If you have any suggestion, please send "Private message".

I've been away from the guitar since Thursday night. My dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last week and is not doing well. I flew up Friday afternoon to spend the weekend with him. Hopefully I can focus and get some time in tomorrow. Playing guitar helps me in times like these.
