No problem. I wish I posted a more thorough video now!

Question for people who own this guitar:

I think it came strung with medium elixers. Any idea if stringing it with lights or custom lights would sound ok? Mediums are too heavy for me. Also, does any other string besides elixer work well with this guitar?

DoronD,
How does the fret spacing feel? I played a baby Taylor for the first time a few days ago and I felt very cramped and this was down at the 1st-2nd. &3rd. frets.

I sent an email to CA about the strings the Cargo ships with and the reply I received said Elixir PB Lights.. That's they way they look/feel to me too.

My BT felt cramped to me too. The Cargo doesn't to me.

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the continuing info on the Cargo. I have mine on order with Danny at AcousticProMusicians and hope to get it before an upcoming trip to the east coast. My main reason for ordering is to have an indestructable, good sounding guitar for things like an upcoming backpacking trip in the Sierras in June. It looks to be perfect for that. My plan is to get a baby taylor gig bag to replace the CA bag - I seem to remember other posts that say that works well. Again, thanks for the video - it is making it hard to wait for the order to be filled by CA!

The BT gig bag is what I use for my Cargo. It's a snug fit, but it does fit fine.

I don't want anyone to think that I am dissing any Cargo owners or want to be owners. I really want to play one. I was just asking opinions on travel guitars.

Like will Smith said in ID4: "I gotta get me one of these!"

Anyone planning to buy the electrified version? I can't see trying to install electronics from the aftermarket... long reach to that bridge!

I got the version with pickup, but mostly because that's what Danny at APM had on order. I could care less about the pickup, but you're right... I'm sure it's not a real easy add after the fact!

Okay, I know it's youtube and not the most exacting of ways to evaluate a guitar...but I am real impressed with what I heard. It sounds full and well balanced and way more "standard guitar like" in sound that any of the traditional small guitars.

Congrats on what sounds like a nice guitar.
