New Yamaha Red Label top bracing: add a Baggs?
Take a look at this page and be sure to scroll down to the image of the top showing the underside bracing.
https://usa.yamaha.com/products/musi...bel/index.html See those two popsicle-stick-sized pieces adjacent the sound hole running between the principal X-brace struts? Wouldn't one have to be removed if one wanted to stick in a Baggs or Fishman control module for the pickup system?

You are right. I looked at the Baggs unit, and it is relieved so as to bridge that piece.

Why not get one with the new pickup system in it already?
