Default Rainsong

Subjective, of course. Played both, really prefer the Rainsong (expecially unplugged).

I just ordered a Rainsong Jumbo ( bare finger picker mostly) but then canceled it because musiciansfriend didn't ship like they were supposed to yesterday. This morning I got an email saying they shipped anyway. Wife is not happy that I ordered it without consulting her. But then she wasn't happy when I canceled it without consulting her. ( It was going to be my Fathersday gift, I guess.) So I don't know whether I going to keep it when it arrives or not.

I prefer wood but I want some immunity to humidity and temperature. I also kinda like the tone as just another that I can choose from.

i have not played many examples of both, but a rainsong JM1000 i played at a GC left me with a huge impression! it was very good, i thought to myself, as good as a goodall.

as for both companies, i hate it that they don't make a full length heel that comes all the way to match the back of the guitar. i know they don't need one but i think it looks ugly without it
