Thanks.
Although this will be classy looking small jumbo, that contrast should bring a little special effect to the package.

Well, I think that Fred has a couple of great curly maple sets available

I know that there is more then one good luthier around but I can assure Fred is fantastic to work with and his guitars are also fantastic

That's a very nice wood library for sure and Fred looks like a cool guy.

If I were a multimillionaire I would commission 2-3 guitars from every builder and turn my home into a museum... Until then, I'll have to stick with my limited collection...

Very exciting for me to see all the pieces coming together There is still a lot of work to be done, but the guitar begins to reveal itself.

I think that maple guitars usually sound good to me. This one looks great. I can't wait to see the photos of the finished guitar.

I posted a bunch of pictures of the build on photobucket for Jean to enjoy and his choices to post here were good ones. If anyone wants to see more than what is displayed on this thread check this link.

Bonjour Jean

Je ne savais pas que vous receviez une guitar '' custom ''
Il est l'exact opposé de mon Greta et il est une merveilleux guitare d'érable.

Looks like we will have to jam some time.

Again, a wonderful build.

This should make Jean happy, the wood work on his Quilt Maple SJ is completed, final sanded and ready for finish application as soon as the Cocobolo Fan fret is sprayed.

Thanks for looking
Fred

J-F-C's guitar is in the spray booth so I though I would post some photos with the sealer and 1st coat of lacquer on to show the final look we will achieve. Jean saw these on my facebook yesterday an seems pleased with the look.

Thanks for looking
Fred

I love a blonde! The dark trim is perfect - if I ever have a maple guitar this is just how I want it to look.
