Default Fixing a poorly done crack repair

I recently had newly acquired Martin in the shop for repair of some side cracks. Being a newbie I didn't discuss procedures, glue etc. What I got back was half the crack poorly repaired with gobs of CA and the other half with a nice ridge or bump out. Can CA be removed without serious surgery in order to start over with Titebond or similar?
Thanks

Not really - it depends up where it is. But it can be smoothed out very easily.

Can you post a pic?

Can you post photos of the job, some people look at repairs as just structural others structural and cosmetic, you may find it has been structurally repaired well and cosmetically lacking.

Umm, wow.

That defies belief that you paid to have that repaired at a commercial shop and that’s what they gave back to you.

Yes I can understand that the finish may not have been done subject to an option of repair, eg cheap as possible or colour coated but not matching or invisible.

But that has exposed glue, misaligned sides.

Wow... take it back, seriously, this should not be your problem

That guitar has solid wood sides, it is very doable to make that completely invisible to an untrained eye.

I can talk you through how to get it perfect from here, but it relys on you having some tools and some skills.

Steve
I will take you up on that if you don't mind. I have some tools and at least enough skill to have done a better job than what I got. I will try and take some better pictures and get them posted.
Thanks!

That is ugly ugly work. Me Dingo could do a smoother job with her snout. I hope you can get it to be decent looking, it may be structurally sound.
