Stand on stage for two hours with one of these boat anchors hanging off your neck and you'll change your mind.

Les Pauls and SG's hang about two frets too far out for me. Not only is the LP heavy, its surprisingly awkward. And no wonder Gibson is bankrupt, they havent figured out the whole strap button geometry thing in a hundred years

I have had several electrics throughout my life. A 74 Tele Deluxe a early 90í MIM Strat, a PRS Custom 24 and a an Epi Les Paul Standard a 2008 Hotrod 52 Reissue Tele, and a Jaguar.

The LP was a boat anchor.

My favorite is the 52 HR Tele. Great playing guitar and tone. I have since traded the PRS on my OMC35e, my nephew has the Jaguar and the Strat is buried somewhere on the closet and I parted with the Tele Deluxe back in the 70ís. I will keep the 52 forever.
