Default Finding My Way Home

This is an old recording of a tune I wrote from May of 2007. I tweaked the mix just a bit. All I had was an Mp3 though.

Obviously I had too much coffee that day,
It's a touch buzzy too. Almost good, not quite but close

Very nice tune Barry. Also very consistent playing throughout the song.

Well done.

Hi Barry!

I don't hear too much coffee! I hear a whole lot of life in there, Barry! Very nice -- well done! Great job on this!

Sounds pretty good to ME too! If THAT'S what too much coffee does for someone I better start drinking more! Well done.

It's good Barry, we're not used to this speed coming from you, it's hard to believe that it comes from you. It's only better !!!

Good one, Barry! As I listened, I had an image that this was the sort of music that you'd see/hhear in a movie trailer.........Maybe the opening scenes at the start of a fun flick, or at the end with credits.
Very easy kind of "American" or "Americana" feel to it......and yes, "Finding My Way Home" kind of feel!
Very nice....very enjoyable!!

Thanks Remy! That tune was written and recorded 12 years ago
A few things got thrown at me during that time, but they missed
If I tried to play that fast now I'd probably poke my eye out,

Seriously though, I should see if I can get that tabbed out at some point, relearn it and do a cleaner recording.

VERY NICE, Barry!

I found myself swaying and tapping my foot listening to it!

I always wanted to compose a tune like that - sunny, rolling, roving and pulsating, that brings a smile

And you got the perfect title to go with it, too.

Why not record it again with your much-refined recording skills? 12th Anniversary Edition!

Pp

PS Would you care to share your TAB if I ask politely, please?

Thanks Pippin!

I'll be happy to share the tab once I get it finished. I am going to re-record it, but I have first "reverse engineer" what I played and finish the tab to re-learn it. I had started to, but then I had some health issues that interrupted the process and now with the holidays rapidly approaching we are busy getting ready.

Hey Barry,

I think it’s very well done. I quite enjoyed it.
We’re always our own worst critic-but I think you’ve
got a good tune there.
