Some folks are masters at presenting a lyric, and Goodman was one of them. Best I've ever seen at that was Sammy Cahn. And he couldn't sing even a little bit.

Funny, just last night I watched a short video bio of Harry Chapin. I think "Taxi" is a terrific song. Hope to someday learn and cover it. thanks again, scott |

Great article on Steve in Rolling Stone;
https://www.rollingstone.com/music/m...oodman-860284/ Two album re-issues, I'm glad he's being remembered. Here's another RS article from May. Two articles in two months, pretty soon Steve will be famous! |

Hey Scott, this looks like it's from ACL, but it's not on the DVD I have...does yours? I seem to remember you had an older release...

Does anybody know what model Gibson he's playing in that last posted video (from his first ACL appearance)?

Don't know if you've ever seen this vid of Steve doing "You're the Girl I Love" solo in the studio playing that monster director into a microphone. Even through a one-inch laptop speaker that's one of the best acoustics I've ever heard in my life. What tone. And a real cannon -- a true blaster. And listen to Stevie make it sing. Wow.
