Default Got it! A new Emerald X30 7 string Jumbo.now with photos

I have just put it down after three hours and what a beast! So comfortable to play (though I am struggling with the 7th string a bit as it is new to me, but I'll soon sort it.)

The strings need to settle in but even allowing for that, the tone and sustain is fantastic. And what a looker.... the colour hovers between black and ruby red, wonderful.

Difficult to describe tone but I would class it as very well balanced with a rich but not over-dominant bass, clear crisp mids and sparkling, zingy trebles. My Christmas has started!

Cheers everyone

Ian
