Realm, huh? I call mine a room...but I get your point. Actually, mine is just a corner off the kitchen...but at least it has a fireplace for winter playing and a great view of our backyard garden in the Spring.

No picture, my music room is the spare bedroom. Not much room with a queen size bed stuck in there.

I am rolling around the idea to build a 10x12 "shed". No county building permit. Insulate it, electric heat, a window AC. Should have a nice little studio.

Don't forget a cage for the go-go dancers.

I’ve discovered that window ACs tend to be loud...especially in a small room/shed.

One of my "realms"; kinda cool because all the instruments are built by me.

Time to incorporate a Murphy bed in that spare bedroom!

I don't really have a restricted "realm", if you will, I play ALL AROUND the house . Since I don't gig and don't really experiment in in the electrical realm, I don't need anything other than an excessive number of acoustic guitars and a laptop. So while I have a handfull of guitars hanging in our "home office/exercise room", I also have a couple more on walls or stands in other rooms. I play wherever is convenient - all I need is a guitar, capo and my laptop for tabs. Usually I play in my kitchen at the center island. The captain's chairs are ideal for playing and the acoustics are pretty good. Sometimes, if all the ladies in the house are occupying that space, I'll retire to the porch, deck or office.

By the way, the chickens in our back yard have really taken an appreciation to my playing. Occasionally one will jump up on my shoulder as a play on the deck. They aren't big tippers, but they seem to like what I'm doing.

Here's mine. Don't pay attention to the two trouble makers.

I do most of my recordings in a spare bedroom though.

Hey Rev, looks like you have a petrified guitar in upper left corner...😉

There's a fireplace in the room I usually play in, too, and I always imagine that when I'm out of the room the firewood is complaining to the guitar about how unfair it is.
