Would you interview a person who lacked the savvy to send an application showing they understand the production manager job title and and have relevant skills?

The ability to coordinate and improve quality will address two issues mentioned in this thread?

Cheers.

When I buy a brand new car, I don't expect the dealer to set up the seat and mirrors for me.

My wife's ideal setup is too low for me, I play with a heavy thumb and get fret rattle. Mine is too high for her, and she says they are hard to play.

The posts of this thread indicate that some people don't expect the guitar to be set up for them at time of sale.

I do.

I do.
Set up to a generally acceptable level of playability, or set up to your specifications?

I’d certainly expect the former, especially for a guitar as expensive as the CF instruments generally under discussion here.

The latter would depend entirely on the supplier’s ability to interpret and execute your instructions for setup - perhaps tough to do without some in-person discussion.

I do.
rather it seems that this thread was started to suggest emerald to open several headquarters in the states.
regarding to request an emerald guitar that includes aspects usually combined with the work of a luthier I can testify that, in my case, I was also able to request the exact height of the action on the guitar that will be sent to me. all despite not having a headquarter in my country.

Cool.

But how would I know how high (or low) to set it and still not have unwanted sounds, without first playing the instrument.

I do not have your knowledge base or skills.

If i had my way, and I could over rule the laws of physics, the strings would be 0.2 mm above the 12th fret, have perfect intonation, and be buzz free.

Air guitar is all of the above without strings or frets

I do not have your knowledge base or skills...
you'll have another guitar that you feel comfortable with, right? give them the measurements of that setting, otherwise how can they guess? ... I assure you I don't possess any particular knowledge or skill, nor the beautiful guitars you have in your signature
