Default NGD! Taylor 324ce Builders Edition

50 years ago this coming May 1, my grandfather gave me $40 for my 15th birthday and I bought my first guitar. Thought it was time for an early birthday present for myself!
I had been eyeing the regular 324ce, however there are no new ones around (this area at least). Wasn't convinced I would like the Urban Ash body, however its a beauty! Guitar Center in Manchester, NH had 2 in stock, so this one was brand new, still in the box. And they took the 15% off I had with one of the usual 'manufacturers excluded' coupons, too.

That’s a classy looking guitar. I bet it has a rich tone. Congrats.

Thumbs up

Congrats! That's a beautiful and classy 324ce BE! Silent satin finish is less troublesome to take care of, as it doesn't get smudges as easily as gloss finish does. Enjoy bonding with and playing your new guitar!

These are really great, and I thought of the other 324 combinations I've tried (with sapele and blackwood), that the urban ash might have the best tone of the bunch.

Many congrats and enjoy!

I bought one new last year and was shocked at how well it sounded plugged in. Ended up flipping it and buying another Taylor. It might be too bright for some, but to me you can't beat that Taylor tone! Enjoy it.
