I saw him in the very early 70’s. I can’t really remember his guitar playing. It was his voice I remember, beautiful.

There was this local guitar event with all sorts of Jazz players being predominant. There was some very cool Gipsy Jazz stuff, generally about 3 players at the same time, and Martin Taylor's solo performance, mainly Jazz standards.

Still I guess some young Gipsy kids jamming on the guitar show side was the most memorable part of that event.
