Default X7 with 24.75 Scale?

Hi. I’m new to the forum but have been lurking for a while. I’m going to be ordering an Emerald X7 and was thinking of ordering it with a 24.75” scale. Any one ever play or order one with this slightly longer scale? I mostly play Gibson electrics but have a couple Fender 24” scale length guitars which feel almost too short for my liking? Any comments, suggestions or opinions are welcome. My only other acoustic is a Taylor 812e. I like it’s scale length which I believe to 24.875”.

It's not a direct comparison, but I have a thin-bodied nylon string electric with a short scale, and I really like it.

Pretty sure Methos has one with a 24.6" and I think an X20 with the same scale length. Maybe he'll chime in. But he seems very happy with it, if I can speak for him just that little bit.

I've played electrics with 24" also and didn't like them, being fine with anything from 24.75 - 25.5. But I have an X7 with the standard 24" scale and freaking love it. The only time I don't love it is on the very rare occasion I want to capo up around the fifth fret, which I almost never do, but there are a couple of tunes I try to sing that are done up there. It feels pretty crowded in that situation, but for everything else I love it. And for finger style, which I'm just learning over the past several months, I absolutely love it. I had an X20 for a while also, with a 25.5" scale and was happy enough strumming it, but for fingerpicking, I didn't like it as much.

But that's just my experience - might not apply to anyone else...

Yes, I have both an X20 and an X7 with a 24.6" scale. It's perfect for me. I also did custom neck shapes with a soft V. I love the ergonomics of the X7. It's the perfect guitar. But the X20 is a Swiss Army Knife for gigging. It does everything very well.

When I noted that the thin-bodied electric was a short scale I should have been more specific--24.75", and I like it. I don't think I'd want to go any shorter with a nylon string guitar.

My X7 Nylon has a 24.9" scale length. Or probably more accurately the 24.875" scale you mentioned.

That is what I like best for finger picking on a standard tuned guitar.
