Best player: McDavid 63%, MacKinnon 17% Crosby 16%

What goalie would you want in game 7 of the SC finals (they couldn't pick their own team's goalie): Price 33%, Fleury 23%, Vasilevskiy 11%

Most underrated player: Barkov 22%, Huberdeau 9%, Backstrom 8%

Dirtiest player: Marchand 29%, Wilson 24%, Matthew Tkachuk 11%

Player you'd mot like to have a beer with (again, not on their own team): Ovechkin 14%, Crosby 12%, Thornton 12%

The one with the most agreement, do you pay attention to advanced stats: No 86%, Yes 14%
I'm surprised Price is listed as #1. Two years ago, yes, but not today. I'm also surprised that Marchard is listed as #1 for dirtiest player ... two years ago yes, but not today.

All Star Game week-end. Some big names missing this year ... Crosby, Ovechkin, Matthews.

So I'm going to the Stadium Series game this Saturday between the Avs and the Kings at the Air Force Academy. I'm really looking forward to it if I can stay warm. It starts at 6 PM local time with temps in the teens. It would be a lot more comfortable during the day, but the nighttime atmosphere should be cool.

Anybody been to one of these? The Avs are coming off a 4-1 road trip and are playing well. Hopefully the Kings stay in the doldrums and we get a win.

On a side note, the Caps come to Denver Thursday. If I knew the Avs would win 3--2, it'd be fun to see Ovi get #700. He's been shut out his last two games.

Stadium Series? That is so cool! How many people are expected? Just bring a very warm tuque, an extra scarf and a couple of sweaters ... and maybe something warm to sit on.

I've never been to an outdoor game before. They've played them at some great locations.

Crosby with 3 points tonight.

Kassian (Edmonton) suspended 7 games for kicking. What a bonehead move.

Default CBC Hockey Night in Canada Live Stream

For the Yanks on this thread - check out this live stream link, below. Enjoy!

Big game for my Flames. The Black Hawks are here for the 8pm puck drop at the Saddledome. We are on a but of a roll, after a good roadtrip. Scoring some goals - a rarity in Calgary, this season. Enjoy the link!!!

Cool, thanks for the link. I'm at a hotel for business in the US so I'll check it out.

Hoping the Flames can put some past the Blackhawks.

The link doesn't work. Looks like it's not available in the US since I'm getting a "geography" error.

The outdoor game is looking very cool. These events have been a great, successful concept. Kudos to the NHL/NBC/CBC!

Looks like it took some people 4 hours to get to the game in Colorado when it usually takes them 45 minutes. Ouch. Many people missed a couple of periods of the game.

My son left Denver at 2, planning to enjoy the experience before the game. Made it into the stadium at 5:45. Watched an entire movie in the car waiting to get out of the parking lot after the game. Waits for concessions and women's rest room a disaster. $125 for the cheap seats. $12 for a 24 oz beer.

Who won the game? Stan Kroenke.

I had to google Kroenke, although I thought he must be the owner of the Rockies, and he is. He also owns a bunch of other professional sports teams.

I feel sorry for your son. What should have been a great NHL experience will always be remembered for spending most of his time frustrated in the car.

How did this happen? I read that the site has hosted events in the past and didn't have these kinds of problems.

My son's experience was the same as everyone else's. Apparently the Avs left all the logistics to the AF Academy.

The more information that comes out, the worse it sounds ...
