Default RE: Luthier for Gibson Archtop?

Has anyone had any experience with the Gibson Repair and Restoration services? I have a 1951 ES-125 that sustained some damage to the side and I'm wondering if it's worth sending in to the mothership for repair, or if I'd have a better experience working with someone closer to home. I'm in Washington, DC if anyone has any recommendations.

Thanks in advance!
