It looks and sounds great.

Cue the Gibson lawsuit. You know it is coming from that litigious company. Haha

I have heard, but not confirmed, that they list at $6400 for Sitka and $7400 for red spruce.

Ouch, if that’s accurate they will likely be £6500 and £7500 respectively in the UK which is a bit ridiculous for a copy of a ‘workingman’s guitar’. You could get a fairly decent player grade Gibson banner for that.

Beautiful, but $5,500 or $6,500+ is a lot (too much) for a hobby for me. I can understand pros wanting this level of instrument, though. I think spending Gibson prices or Martin prices as I have done in the past, is a big splurge.

Love the playing/tone. Sure doesn’t sound like my CJ35.

Really nice. Certainly doesn't hurt to have a player of that caliber showing it off either.

It would be a lot of fun to sit in a nice room and play one of these along with a number of similar guitars.

Wow, what a great sounding guitar that Artisan got to demo. Love the warmth too. Collings is really upping their game with these new Traditionals.

I was able to snag the first one TME got a couple of weeks ago. I’m here to say, it’s magical. The mids are really special.
It doesn’t have the heavy low end a Gibson does, but that can be a good thing. Very clear, but not bright. The videos are spot on to the sound of this thing.

I’ve had 2 CJ35’s and they have more mids than Collings other offerings, but this one is different. Another level of vintage going on here. Love it!

Great to hear! I’ve got mine on order from CME. Hoping to get it as early as next week.
