For sale is Martin's herringbone HD-28P with their low profile neck. The original case in very good to excellent condition is included.

Built in 1991 this guitar has playwear on the sitka spruce top as shown in the photos including both sides of the fretboard and between the bridge and pickguard, together with ordinary dings and scratches here and there. There is one repaired hairline below the bridge (see photo). The beautiful EIR back has one light buckle scratches area and the EIR sides are in good shape with one light scratches area on the leg rest side. Overall this guitar is solid structurally while the tone stands out like a well played 26 year old Martin should. This guitar is definitely not for the museum piece collector but rather, is for the tone and sustain enthusiast.

The nut width is 1-11/16", the action is 7/64" and 5/64" at the 12th fret, neck is straight with an adjustable truss rod, just a hint of fret wear under the first 2 strings and initial frets with the majority of life remaining,

A LR Baggs M1 Active pickup ($189 value) that easily fits across the soundhole along with a new battery for it is included with the sale. This is one of the finest active pickups available for true sound reproduction.
