Fairbanks 12 fret Gold Sparkle F-20S (price drop 11/17)
Dale Fairbanks Jesterhead L-2 12 fret flattop completed in November 2016.
This is a rare guitar by builder Dale Fairbanks. I don't believe he is building this model any longer. It is very full and loud for it's size, essentially L-00. It sounds great strummed and sounds amazing when fingerpicked. Only selling to fund another build with Dale I have in the works. Very lightly built- weighs in at 3.6 pounds Mahogany back & sides Red Spruce top Hide Glue Mahogany neck Madagascar RW bridge & fingerboard Indian Ebony headstock veneer Ivoroid binding Gold Sparkle purfling 24 3/4" SL 2 5/16" string spacing 1 3/4" nut width There is one wormy scratch on back that is not through the finish appprx. 1". The previous owner had a clear pickguard that marred the finish. Was repaired by Jim Grainger's shop in Sparta Tenn. Only visible when holding guitar 45 degrees to light. I tried to get photos of these two areas for an hour, and tried editing the photos to show the areas, but couldn't get them to show in photos very well.
