The Amicus is just plain fun to play... just thought I'd throw that out there.

That must be it, Earl.

I am having fun!
Thanks everybody!

BS;

Time to sell the house and your first born--you need more musical instruments. Rust never sleeps so don't be denied.

Really super pair.

The Amicus is something I'd really like to try someday. Has to wait for now.

Here's a sample of the x7. Sold recently (I needed some cash).
Strung with D’Addario NYXL 11-49s, original pickup, fingerstyle no pick.

Relaxing... an ever so slight bit of processing?

Song, how do you like the Amicus compared to, say, a Nashville-tuned guitar, a Tacoma Papoose, or a mandolin?

I find the idea of not having to constantly (re)learn chord voicings enticing. I've even been batting around the idea of retuning my mando to 4ths, but that would upset my current repertoire!

I bet the carbon fibre helps a lot with tuning on those 12 strings!

When I saw the title to this thread, I thought Song was writing an open letter to the participants on this forum. I knew right away she wasn't talking to me, so I missed out on it early on.
