Question Gibson J45 as my only guitar. am I crazy?

To finance the purchase of my dream guitar, I made the decision to sell off my entire small collection, including the djr10. The Martin 00015m and the Epi IB Texan has already been sold. I really miss the tone of the epi slope shoulder. It was perfect to accompany my voice.

Consequently, I will only possess a single acoustic guitar, which happens to be
the Gibson J45. Would it be considered madness to have just a J45?

Whatever works for you. There's nothing at all wrong with a J45.

There are countless guitarist around the world who would be delighted to have a J-45 as their only guitar. Why not be one of them?

I wish I could get down to just one guitar and just concentrate on playing. If my shoulders could handle it it might very well be a J45 (or a J185)

Yeah, it's madness. I would have saved up and kept them all. That being said, enjoy our madness with a great guitar.

I’ve had scores of guitars. The only constant has been my 2002 J-45.

If I could only have one guitar, it would very likely be a Gibson slope shouldered J body of some sort.

I could probably get by with just a J-45. It works well for a lot of musical styles and the shorter scale makes it pretty comfortable. The only real drawback is the body size, not as easy to play on the couch except in certain positions.

My first quality guitar was a great sounding J-50, and I remember thinking it could be a do it all guitar, and it was. However, I now have too many guitars and really only need my J-35 and a 12 string. That's it. So much easier!

Perfect choice for an “only” guitar. It can do it all.
