Here is another great tune and I am playing SCGC D/PW hog. My tone is mostly coming from the line out from UDO amp and a little from the mic in front. We recorded another tune and I was using the H13 there. Will post that in this thread soon as well. Cheers!

I’m a year and a half late to this party, but I couldn't resist watching S.O.S. and Wichita Lineman in the same thread. Being a diehard Glenn Campbell and Mark Knopfler fan, I was drawn in like the preverbal moth to a flame, and I am so glad I was. Beautiful guitars, great technique and delivery!

I continuing sharing the love for SCGC. Here is the H13 in a same setup as the D/PW in the earlier video. Sound is 90% coming out of line out of UDO Da Capo amp in both Wichita and this one. So you can clearly hear you need both, dread and a small body!

Oh goody, an old SCGC thread that is now something I can chime in on. I have played a few Santa Cruz guitar over the years, 15 or 20, and even toured whatever space they were in twenty years ago, but chance led me to bring one home. It grabbed me by the throat and would not let go. My 2011 D P/W is stunning to me for it's neck, slightly thinner body, attention to detail, and tone. Oh, my, the tone.

I thought I was immune to temptation, and would never pay the price for the itty bit better guitar. I was wrong. Play one at you bank account's peril. I would never have played my guitar if it had been new. The itty bit better, for me with this guitar, was more than an itty bit better.

Do not despair if you are playing a D 18 though. Please, be happy.

I was set to purchase a HD-28 when I was shopping a few years back, but tried D/PW too and that was it for me.

Yes, I've done duo and trio gigs with full PA, with both of these SCGC guitars. They both have K&K Trinity system. None problems and no feedback, wonderful tone. But I assume full on rock gig with a loud band, might cause feedback problems.
