I almost bought a GP-28 with a binding issue, and I should have. My plan was to just put some packing tape over the loose area and play the crap out of it!

Sounds odd that someone who stole a Martin would be looking to exchange it for another Martin. Could be just legit.

Blakey, Thought of that and really hope it's true but wouldn't have benifited me since I would have pointed out the price difference and wouldn't have made the trade unless he really, really wanted a mahagony guitar.
