Keep Open B from Pinging Against Fingers
Lots of cool licks involve sliding up on the G and high E while the open B rings out. I could really do with some tricks to keep that open B from pinging against my fingers, often the middle, as they slide.

Can't think of any specific "trick" though you can have your fretting finger that is on the high E string hanging a bit over the edge of the fretboard to give a little more distance from the B string.

I sometimes have that issue or ones close to it too, more so now that I have less flexible joints. More string spacing from a wider neck helps some. Yes, accurate finger placement and getting more "straight down" with your fretting fingertips can prevent this -- which I know but my fingers won't always follow.
