Default Recording King R0-OOO - SOLD!

2020 Recording King RO-318

About This Listing

This guitar is in mint condition, and I am including a Gator Gig Bag which is mint also. This is RK’s version of a Martin 000-18. You would be hard pressed to believe this guitar is used because whoever had did not play it much. I can find no scratches, dents, or dings anywhere on this RK. It has a great sound, and will make a very comfortable couch guitar, or anytime guitar. It comes with a Solid Adirondack Top, with solid African Mahogany. Installed is an LR Baggs Active Element VTC pickup, as well as a John Pearce ebony armrest (I can remove it if you wish).

Tonewood Reserve All Solid 000 (Mahogany)
Select Solid Adirondack Spruce Top
Select Solid Mahogany Back & Sides
Rosewood Fretboard
Tortoise Binding, Classic Rosette

Part of our Tonewood Reserve Series, the Recording King RO-318 evokes classic style, sound & volume thanks to hand- selected tonewoods and vintage styling.
The foundation of the 318’s tone comes from select solid Adirondack spruce tops. Adirondack delivers a stiff, loud, lightweight top with powerful fundamental tone and excellent projection.
Combine the hand-picked Adirondack tops with select solid Mahogany back and sides, and you have the all-solid basics for guitars that have powered music for decades.
We finish the 318 with classy, low-key fretboard dots on the rosewood fretboard, and a classic black pickguard to protect the
top. The 318’s classic rosette design and tortoise binding complete the traditional look.
For players looking for a guitar that shines for fingerstyle but can still cut through a jam session, the RO-318 offers the best of both worlds at a fraction of the price of a vintage instrument.
