Default 2018 Peter Frampton Epiphone Texan - NEW LOWER PRICE!

2018 Epiphone LT-79 Peter Frampton Texan

Epiphone collaborated with Peter Frampton in developing a guitar that bears his signature. Frampton is said to have been inspired by Steve Marriott's Epiphone Frontier. The result is offered here for sale. I am the original owner.

The guitar has what Epiphone calls a "rare Faded Vintageburst finish." The top is solid spruce with solid mahogany body. The neck is mahogany. The guitar has an undersaddle L. R. Baggs EAS-VTC pickup system with built-in LF Filter and Schaller M6 machine head nickel tuners. There is a two way adjustable truss rod. The nut width is 1.62". Scale length is 25.5". The guitar has neck and body strap buttons. This is one of 500 that were built. It includes a very serviceable padded gig bag.

Bought originally in July of 2019 from a luthier who cleated a small (1.5") crack in the back. It's a good, stable repair that does not affect the guitar in any way. Saddle was replaced with a Colosi compensated bone saddle and sanded it to lower the action. I would call it medium low with good action for strumming and flat picking.

I purchased the Epiphone case for this guitar new in 2021.
