Currently a am hooked on my Furch D32LM. To me it’s like a D18 on steroids, which says a lot. Last month it was my MJ Franks Legacy OM. Next month will bring another song and another favorite guitar among the family. I love em all.

Playability? It was a Martin 000-28ec. Didn't care for the tone though, so I sold it. Tone? My Huss and Dalton TOM-R. If I ever find a guitar that plays like that Martin did and sounds like that H&D does, It may very well be the last acoustic I buy. But that's like chasing rainbows I suppose. I'm not sure such a guitar exists.

I guess that I have two favorites and those are my two custom made guitars - both German spruce tops, one with mahogany and one with rosewood. One is a 14 fret by Sparky Kramer and one a 12 fret by Kathy Wingert. I really like both of them equally.

Best,
Jayne

My current favorite is the Taylor. Just easy to play and very comfortable.

Default What is your favorite acoustic guitar among your collection?

I currently play my Martin 00-15M the most because it is the newest guitar that I have. But occasionally I do get tired of its tone and go to my other guitars. The blessings of variety!

I actually like all my 7 guitars. My 3 favourites are: Martin 00-15M. Yamaha FS5 Red Label MIJ. Faith Venus Blood Moon Burst.

What is your favorite acoustic guitar among your collection?

In a close race, the Taylor 818e s/r Grand Orchestra wins by the width of it's E string (.053 on a set of Elixir PB HD Lights).

Merrill OM 28 Brazilian and Adirondack.
18 years old with two cleats in the top seam separation.
Sounds magnificent.

I loaned it to a friend for recording.

Funny you should ask since I've become increasingly obsessed with the idea of getting down to just 2 acoustics - a beater and one for high days and holidays.

At the moment it's an all hog Martin dreadnought but that could change tomorrow. It's very hard to make up my mind (and I only have three - I can't imagine what it's like for those people who have 5 or more).

Currently my 000-2H but it changes regularly. I’m trying to reduce my collection but I can never decide what to sell!

Ah, which is you favourite child ?
Which is your favourite hand?

I have three dreadnoughts .... do i "need" three dreads ? No, not any longer. Which one is best ?

The sitka/EIR has the most wonderful full sound.
the sitka/hog - is the loudest you've ever heard.
The Adi/hog - has something else again, and has the nicest neck.

There there are the tree archtops ...

I have a Collings 0002h, a British built 00, and an Eastman "0" which is best ? (well OK - the Collings!)

Two 12 strings ... OK - the Martin.

We buy our guitars for a specific reason - so, ....can't say.

For most of my playing—Collings OM1VN

When I want a more blended and warmer tone for strumming, my BTH Martin D-18.
