Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I agree Rob that you don't have to use 7th or 9th etc. chords all the time in blues songs. Besides, you used B7 in the turn around, so... and I used root/fifth shuffle chords in my version, except for the turnaround. I sort of liked the sound of major chords for a change.

Wha'choo'talkin'about, Willis?

Are you referring to the VOM website were the song is hosted? If so, you should check it out.

Over at the Harmony Central acoustic guitar forum, they have a monthly Virtual Open Mic. It's always the second Sunday of every month. There is some amazing talent doing music over there. Check out the archives for VOMs past. Some really good stuff.

That was very good. Vocals and playing.
If had any suggestion, I would maybe sing it half a step lower (or even full step).

Thanks.

I've been experimenting with the idea already. There's another song I'm working on that I have found to be troublesome on some days so I tuned down a half step and now it's much easier. I'm doing it now on both guitars and will be keeping them there.

The best thing is, it serves a second purpose. It will relieve a little stress on the neck of my 12-string.
