Default Original song in D-A-D-F#-A-D

This is a little song I came up with in DADF#AD. I'm playing a Taylor 714CE

I like it! I've recently been dabbling in this same tuning too.

Keep it up!

Thanks, I think DADF#AD is a little darker (if this is the right word) then DADGAD.

That is a great tune. I've never experimented with alternate tunings but that one really makes some nice movable chord progressions. I'd love to hear some lyrics with that bad boy!!

Thanks! I'm not much of a lyric kind of guy but it would be fun.

I'm using that tuning to learn a song at the moment and I quite enjoy it. It can be just as cheery

Got a nice tune to it. I'd love to learn this tuning and its chord shapes, fingering, etc. Where could I find that stuff?

That tuning works to produce some very nice sounds. Well done, thanks for posting it.

I love open d tuning. My all time favorite fingerstyle song Little Martha (Duane Allman) is in that tuning. If you take the f# a half step down to f you got an open d minor tuning. Very dark and eerie....
Very nice playing, Weinersnitzelz. But your name is killing me. Not only am I German but I used to be a chef, too...
