Welcome to the AGF!! Don't be shy about participating in the many discussions in the forum, and please take some time to listen and comment on other member's work posted in this subsection.

I listened to all four of the songs posted. Very nice work! I liked them all, but "All For You" was my favorite. You sing very well and the arrangements and production quality are very good.

My only critique is that as a collection, these songs sound very similar to one another in terms of phrasing, tempo and even chord choice (although not exactly the same progression), so you should consider spacing them with songs of different tempos and sounds. Too many songs of the same tempo in a collection will lose the listener's interest. Variety is the key to a successful collection, IMHO.

Another thumbs up from me. Very nice. Good writing. Very well performed. Great voice.

The recordings are excellent as well. Very professional sounding.

thanks guys! hmm im kinda bummed to hear that because i tried to make them all as different as possible, in fact every song is in a different tuning. but i do see your point, while they dont sound the same per say they do have a similar feel to them.

Some pretty nice originals you have! Really nice playing and quite good singing - very modern sound to it all. I don't know, I didn't think they were too similar, but it is also ok to have an own sound, of course.

Really nice stuff, can imagine that lots of people would really enjoy listening.

Don't be bummed, I really liked all of the songs you posted. I didn't intend it as a negative, rather my comment was just a "heads up" kind of thing, because I heard repeated chord relationships and guitar strumming patterns in these songs, even though you added licks and key changes to break them up. It isn't bad, but be cognizant of the possible trend in future songs. And, of course, it's just the humble opinion of an old guy, so take it with a grain of salt!

I'm with SHawlie. I think that they have similar feel but not repetitive at all. I think Memories is a VERY good song. I kind of get a certain Johnny Rzeznik vibe from them. Good stuff.

Re: Love's Last Words...

Kind of a dark song. A bit quiet in the beginning and the end. I think I liked the other songs better. Not that this one isn't good, it's just not my cup 'o' tea.
